Organizations we have worked with

Children Of The Night - Van Nuys, CA.
We are very proud of our association with this agency. We have worked with Dr. Lois Lee and her staff since 1990.
The Scott Newman Center - Rowdy Ridge Gang Camp ~ Wrightwood, CA.

The mission of the Rowdy Ridge Gang Camp is to provide a life-affirming program for families who are recovering from drug addiction or are survivors of spousal abuse.

WestCare Nevada ~ Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas has the highest number of runaways in the country. Many of these girls are teenage moms with drug and alcohol problems. At WestCare, they get the opportunity to put their lives back on track.

Options House - Hollywood, CA.  Now known as  The Los Angeles Youth Network
We have worked here with kids from age 12-17.

Covenant House California -Hollywood, CA. These young people are 18-21.  Covenant House has shelters in South America, Alaska, New York, Hollywood, CA and other areas. We salute the many people who make Covenant House the haven of hope that it is.

"Millions of vulnerable children suffer all manner of neglect and abuse every day of their lives and in every corner of the globe. The power of prayer is not to be underestimated" states Bruce Harris, Executive Director of Casa Alianza / Covenant House Latin America.

Street children at a glance: At least 100 million children world wide are believed to live at least part of their time on the streets. (UNICEF, 29 March 1994)
40 million are estimated to live in Latin America. Casa Alianza / Covenant House Latin America, assists some 4,400 street children in Mexico and Central America each year.

The Probation camps of the L.A. Juvenile Court System.
We have visited Camp Miller and also Camp Kilpatrick in the Malibu area. There are approximately 100 youth in each camp.

The Paso de Robles Boys School - Paso Robles, CA.
This was a youth detention center run by the California Youth Authority. We visited this facility on a regular basis in 1995.

Dept. of Juvenile Services/Juvenile Hall - San Luis Obispo, CA.
A coed facility for approximately 35 adolescents

Clare Foundation Youth Recovery Home - Santa Monica, CA.
This was a 12-18 month recovery home for youth with drug and alcohol problems. Unfortunately, this agency lost its funding and had to close.

Our service population to date includes youth shelters and treatment programs in Central L.A., the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys, San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, CA.

We plan to add other facilities in California and beyond as we grow. We added Covenant House New York in November 2001.
We added WestCare Nevada in Las Vegas in 2004.

A long term goal is to involve others in the music business by encouraging them to join the "Special Angel Network." By doing this we can spread the good work we have started.

On an average, the young people we have worked with are:

Caucasian - approx. 37-40%
Black - approx. 25-30% ~ Hispanic - approx. 32-35%
Asian or PI - approx. 2.0%
~ Other - approx. 1.0%

Males - 60% Females - 40%
Average age - 16-17 ~ age range - 12-20

Fact ~ Over 1 million kids run away from home every year
and those numbers are increasing.

There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.
