Special Angel Music Director
Jon Walmsley
Jon Walmsley was born in Lancashire, England, emigrated to the U.S. with his parents and began performing at age eight, singing and playing guitar. This led to work in commercials and film and eventually the coveted role as Jason, John-Boy's younger brother, on The Waltons. He was selected to be "the musical Walton," and played guitar, piano and harmonica in many of the episodes. Before taking the part of Jason, Jon provided the voice of Christopher Robin, in Disney's "Winnie the Pooh" movies.

Jon Walmsley in the studio
Jon performed many original songs on The Waltons. At 19, he made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry and has since appeared as a guitarist-vocalist on television, records and stages worldwide. He has performed with such diverse artists as The Doobie Brothers, Elvin Bishop, Gregg Allman, Merle Haggard, Roy Acuff and Richard Marx.
Jon's television credits include appearances in Combat, Daniel Boone, My Three Sons, Nanny and the Professor, The Bill Cosby Show and Adam-12. He was also in the Disney film The Family Band, with Walter Brennan, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

"I always wanted to use my talent to help make the world a better place. When I met Suzanne & Kelly in 1995 and learned about what they were doing, I wanted to get involved. Joining them in their commitment to helping young people has been very satisfying. It's nice to hopefully reach out and grab these young people before they go too far, while they're still reachable."
