LA WOMEN IN MUSIC AND GUITAR IT UP FOR GIRLS RECOGNIZE SPECIAL ANGEL WITH 3 GUITARS

Music Workshops Will Encourage Self Esteem and Creative Expression......see press release here

Using music as the catalyst for initiating dialogue, The Special Angel Project educates young people on self-esteem, healthy communication skills and the potentially life threatening consequences of high risk behavior. Music is the key to reaching the heart of the matter. It opens the pathway to discussion and self awareness.

Suzanne with well known Las Vegas entertainer, Early Clover, lead singer for Cornel Gunter's Coasters. Early joins Suzanne and Kelly when they are in Las Vegas to sing for the teens and Moms at  WESTCARE Las Vegas. WestCare is one of the agencies we work with on a regular basis. WestCare has other locations across the country and does excellent work helping young people and families in crisis. Darlene Terrill is head of the Women and Children's campus. Early is our Head Angel for Las Vegas. See the Organizations worked with page to learn more about WestCare.

Kelly, her daughter Alie and Suzanne with Dr. Lois Lee at Children of the Night in Van Nuys, California. Special Angel has been working with Children of the Night for many years. As the music weaves its magic, the kids are calmer and more willing to talk. Talking about the lyrics in songs gives them the opportunity to relate stories to their own feelings and makes it easier to talk about them. These young people deserve a chance to heal and be the person they were always meant to be. Learn more about this shelter on our Organizations page.

Making Music
Fact ~ Over 1 million kids run away from home every year
and those numbers are increasing.

There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.
